This battle was a daunting battle, but both combatants performed admirably with a very difficult topic. I am pleased with how both of them argued the issue at hand and maintained a respectful attitude at all times. This battle marks our first split-decision - 2 Judges to each combatant, and so will be decided entirely on points alone, separated by only 13 points overall. Here is the verdict:
The third battle has come to an end, and brings us our first ever split-decision. The Challenger was impressive as he tried to out-maneuver the Iron Blogger with a razor-sharp strategy, but the Iron Blogger also impressed with a very passionate and eloquent case. Only one can be victorious.
Who takes it? Whose spleen vents supreme?
Iron Blogger Green, Robin Pratt!
It's the Iron Blogger! Let's look at the scorecards:
Judge Pineapple Girl scores it 63-60 for The Challenger
Judge Ogre scores it 67-48 for the Iron Blogger
Judge Michael scores it 52-47 for The Challenger
And The Chairman scores it 68-66 for The Iron Blogger
Final Score: 242-229 for the Iron Blogger.
A hard fought battle, and with a split-decision, it's difficult to say either combatant 'lost' this one. Congratulations to both bloggers!
